Alison Binns

Alison is a dedicated hardworking GP, with a young family, who somehow finds time to put in an incredible effort for the Pathhead and District community. Alison sits on the Community Hall committee and has been a key player over the last few years in reinvigorating the Community Hall, which had fallen into a state of disrepair. Alison regularly organises events for young and old, which have helped spark a renewed interest in village community - the last Christmas event was a sell out. Alison has also recently taken on the role of redeveloping the Community Hall to better secure its future and make it more accessible for the village as a whole. Alison participates in fun runs, etc often to raise funds for the Community Hall. Given her interest in running, carrying the Olympic torch would be a great way to say thank you for all her efforts.
