Sadly my husband passed away in 2008 at the young age of 41, I was left with our son just aged one. Caryl visits our house weekly, texts' or phones and she gets me and my son involved in things her and her family do. Every time she sees us she has something for my son and he totally adores her. Caryl is a quiet girl; however she is always there day or night. Caryl has achieved many things; from the early age of 5 she started going to gymnastics. When in school she received the Duke of Edinburgh bronze award. In 2002 she joined her local running club (Sarn Helen) and is now a coach in the club for ages 8-18. She tries competitions most weekends and you can see how well she is doing from all the trophies etc she has. She enjoys long distance running and fell races (eg Snowdonia International Race, Cader Idris). She has run the Sarn Helen 16.5 hill race 6 times and has now almost halved her time and she reassures me that there is better to come. The London Marathon, The Great Welsh Marathon - Llanelli and Snowdonia Marathon were other great achievements. She also got through to the S4C programme 10 Jonathan. I think she is an inspiration to young people of this day and age and think this would be a really nice way of saying a big thank you for everything. I could just go on and on and on!
