Caroline is a hard working mother who has spent her life volunteering. From when she started as a Brownie Leader in 1989, Caroline has been volunteering for numerous organisations. She helped at 1st Crymych Brownies as Assistant Leader for many years before moving to 1st Crymych Guides in 1996. At 1st Crymych Guides she has been the Leader in charge up until the current day. She has run the unit single handedly with many girls going through Guides. For many years she was also Preseli District Commissioner then North Pembrokeshire Division Commissioner as well as holding many County roles including Memership Support Co-ordinator and Leadership Qualification Co-ordinator. In 1998 she started 1st Crymych Seniors and Crymych Open Award Unit for young people in the area (both girls and boys) to join together to work towards the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. She has worked hard since 1998 in working towards and gaining BELA and Walking Group Leader Award and since the year 1998 has enabled & trained more and more children in the Crymych Area work towards and gain their Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke Of Edinburgh's Award. Since 2000 she has been running the Award in Preseli School with no assistance. Single handedly she has helped hundreds of children gain their Awards and gain much needed life experiences. Many weeks of the year she spends volunteering for both these organisations willingly giving up her time to help children of all ages. Caroline is an inspiration.
