Caroline's nomination story

Caroline has inspired hundreds of people! An accident left her with brain damage and mobility problems. Two years ago she learned to cycle on a recumbent trike to improve her health and independence. She became a Community Health Champion and supports other disabled people to learn to cycle through `cycle for all` courses and individual support. She also writes a well-read blog `I aint no tomato` which inspires people as far as Australia. She also gives talks to encourage service users to take on individualised budgets. She has now taken on national role with the Inclusive Cycling Forum and won the Yorks & Humber `feelgood factor` award which led to her attending `Pride of Britain` as a regional winner. Her own health has improved and she has lost weight as a result of cycling. I would love to see her with the Olympic torch!
