Carla Blundell

I would like to nominate Carla, over the last few years she has had her childhood taken away due to me having depression. I have 5 children in all and in 2008 i suffered from a serious breakdown and nearly ended up in a mental institution, without carlas' help and becoming a mum as such my other children would of been put in care as my partner had to watch me 24 hours a day. Along with doing a full day at school and as a keen runner i think she deserves to able to do something really special and represent Norwich. Carla is a keen long distance runner and has done the occasional run for charity. Carla also helps out at her younger brothers primary school events eg disco's, fetes. Unfortuntely Carla was also approached by a man carrying a knife in January 2011 so that has knocked her confidence for 6. Everyone loves Carla as she is such a kind caring young lady and has given up going out with her friends and socializing in the past and refuses to go out if my partner has had to go out for the day as she still doesn't like leaving me alone. I told her i was going to nominate her for this and she said 'why i haven't done anything' . I know you will receive thousands of nominations but i feel Carla is Special.
