Carl Gibson

Carl Gibson is a relative newcomer to both the Army and to biathlon and in only his 2nd season in the sport was selected for the GBR IBU Cup team, achieving a World Cup qualification in only his 2nd international race. Last winter (only his 3rd in the sport) he competed in the World Championships in Russia - before he had even raced in a World Cup! He is very much an athlete for the future, and definitely on the BBU PyeonChang 2018 "long list". If he stays in the sport he will also be around for 2022.
