Carina Haley

Carina is without doubt a suitable and worthy candidate to be nominated as Olympic Torchbearer. Carina has always been totally dedicated to a wide range of issues involving young people and sport. Projects she has personally championed include; - Designing and building a Wildlife Garden at our local Junior School - Successfully campaigning for local tennis courts in our village - Implementing local 'Health Walks' for Rugby area residents - Driving change in local schools with 'Healthy Eating' schemes - Key member of village hall committee, getting involved in many initiatives for local fundraising. Carina works tirelessly and in her spare time, supporting local projects and is simply 'passionate' about healthy living and exercise. Her challenging job as a Health visitor also involves many initiatives to promote health, nutrition and exercise around the local area. Most of the work above is voluntary and often un-recognised, although much appreciated by the locality. Carina is the most deserving person I know, and would be so proud and privileged to carry the Olympic Torch in our area. I hope this message purveys Carina's passion to helping others, in the hope she gets this much deserved recognition.
