cameron will be 14 when the games commence he has inspired so many young and old by his brave fight against a life threatening blood illness which has included over 900 visits to hospital and harsh and painfull treatments including 4 courses of chemotherapy and many others that have now made him a insulin dependent diabetic. dispite all this cameron has since four years old been a inspirational fundraiser raising money to help other children and to make there time in hospital easier he has so far raised a incredible £115 000.00 he has organised things from simple raffles to mass sandcastle builds and has even sat in a bath of beans for hours . when he heard his beloved childrens hospital was to close and a appeal was being launched to raise £20 million in just three years he said dad we have to get involved and so three years later after many adventures and hard work cameron gave a speech at a gala celebration dinner thanking everyone who was involved for there efforts and that the total had been reached for all his efforts cameron was made the first young ambassador for the royal manchester childrens hospital he has been awarded many awards from the childrens champion to the pride of britain he accepts them on behalf of all the other brave children and his moving speeches have had rooms full of celebrities in tears cameron has always wanted to be a olympian and to carry the olympic torch would meen that a brave and inspirational boys dream would have come true
