Callum Mcswan

Callum is a 31 year old man who has never failed to impress others with his positivity, and the care and respect he shows to people. As a severely dyspraxic child Callum attended a specialist school which provided daily speech, occupational and physiotherapy. If Callum is selected for the torchbearing he won't be the most co-ordinated person! However, he shall represent about 5% of the population who live with this hidden disorder. Dyspraxia impacts people daily from preparing meals to employment. Despite this he's set up a networking site on Facebook which has over 1300 users, many of whom he supports personally. Callum has successfully networked with politicians to raise the profile of dyspraxia. Now, he's working with others to set up a Charity in Scotland that will provide information to education, social work and health agencies, but importantly offer dyspraxic people and their families a much needed resource.
