Carrying the Flame through
Carrying the Flame on
Callum's nomination story

Cally is a man who gives so much to the community whether they be young or old. He mainly coaches a variety of sports and concentrates on giving children and young adults the most that they can get out of sports. He introuduces people to sports who would otherwise may never have tried or been given the opportunity to do so. He is dedicated, hardworking and indiscrimitative, he believes that everyone has potential. The sports/activities that he promotes range from football, rugby and skiing in addition Cally also organises watersports, bushcraft camps and activity breaks. He is an all round sports man. Cally never thinks the worst of people and never gives up on you and is always there to give help and support. Cally also gets involved with young people who have problems with authority, he seems to be able to get through where others can't and show them that being part of the community is rewarding and that there is a place for them. He also does charity work whether organising it , taking part or both. He does a lot with schools taking them on sporting trips and every school asks for him to do it year after year.

I believe that Cally desrves to carry the flame because in my opinon

and my family's opinion he embodies the spirit of the olympic games. He would relish the opportunity to represent the community to be a torch bearer and we nominate him as a thank you for the support, time and dedication that he gives to our community. CR
