Callum Dickson

Callum has raised almost £2000 over the past 5years for children and young people in Zambia. He has done this in conjunction with a local Dr who volunteers her services to St Francis hospital.He commits himself to raising money by selling goods at car boot sales , saving loose change,donating pocket money and by various other fund raising opportunities.Most of the money he raises goes to children who have been orphaned thruogh aids.Alhough he gets support from his family its his personal committment to this good cause that keeps it going and this year he has raised £270 for the children.Callum is also very committed to his sporting activities he plays rugby for his school, will be attending his purple belt grading in karate shortly and enjoys snowboarding. Given Callums commitment to the above, the opportunity to carry the Olympic torch would be something he would treasure for the rest of his life and I feel give him a reward for his hard work over the years.
