Caitlin Kennedy

Caitlin has brought joy and inspiration to thousands of young people in the local community. Through her role as a Platinum Sports Ambassador, Caitlin has organised and ran a vast array of extra-curricular opportunities, including a Mini Olympics Event that over 400 pupils attended. Caitlin gained over 1,000 signatures from the community to help save the School Sport Partnership. Caitlin's self sacrifice towards improving the sporting lives of others includes extra-curricular clubs, school competitions, D of E, residential trips, coaching Windsurfing and training young sports leaders. Through her volunteer work, Caitlin has raised hundreds of pounds for charities including sports relief, red nose day and Macmillan Cancer Research. Caitlin displays the personal excellence, courage and determination that is the heart of the Olympics Games, competing at 2 Junior Windsurfing World Championships. Caitlin is a fantastic role model and true inspiration to everyone she meets.
