Young Campaigner Cat Hudson is a wonderful example of the passion and commitment of young person to make a difference to their future and the future of others. Cat is a volunteer for Plan UK's Youth Climate Network which is running a campaign called One Step designed to encourage all young people to make a simple pledge, 'one step' to reduce their own impact on the environment. the group aim to collect 5900 steps, the number of miles from here to Durban, to showcase young peoples efforts and put pressure on the UK Gov to make a stand! She is also a member of the UK Youth Climate Coalitions Delegation which will attend the next Climate Summit in Durban. She has already addressed the UN in a speech at the inter-sesionals at Bonn championing young peoples right to have a say in high level climate debate, going into schools and clubs encouraging young people to make a difference.
