Bryony is the most hardworking person I know. Despite being dyslexic and constantly having teachers undermining her potential at GCSE she went on to prove them all wrong by achieving A*, A, A at A - Level. She did this through her own hard work and through sheer perseverance. Whilst studying for her A-Levels Bryony also did volunteer work, which included working with elderly people to help them learn about computers. She also did volunteer work at a local school for children with disabilities. Having decided to take a gap year Bryony spent sixth months working for a local business to save money. On her days off Bryony volunteered at local primary school, helping in a year 4 class. During this time Bryony applied for a teaching course at university - something she has always been very passionate about. Unfortunately Bryony was unsuccessful and so decided to continue with her plan to go travelling and then return and apply again next year. However, whilst in Indonesia Bryony received an email saying that a university would like to interview her. Being so passionate and committed to her aspiration of becoming a teacher she flew home 2 months early to attend this interview, the cost of which means she will not be able to continue her travels. I believe that this act shows huge commitment towards her chosen future and I think that this is truly admirable of her. I feel that Bryony's story could prove inspirational for many people, especially with the current climate. My A level grades, A*, A, B
