Bryden Priest

I wish to nominate Bryden Priest, a 12 year old pupil at Baltasound Junior High School, to be a torchbearer with the Olympic Torch bearing Relay squad. He lives in a small island community, which thrives on the same values of friendship, excellence and respect as the Olympics. He plays an active role in his community to keep traditions alive and moving forward. A well motivated person, he has the ability to set himself goals and the determination to achieve them. He enjoys playing musical instruments especially the fiddle and accordion and uses these talents in community events. He always takes part in sporting activities and although not talented he always tries his best. Bryden is always cheerful and happy, a pleasure to meet, very much a team player, he encourages those in his class with his support and positive attitude. In school he is a consistently hard working pupil, who always gives of his best.. I think because of his ability to be consistently hardworking, determined, motivated, respectful, helpful and cheerful Bryden should be accepted as a Torch bearer for Olympics 2012..
