Bridget has been a part of Hammersmith Community for over 40 years. She was responsible for rebuilding the clubhouse of the tennis clubafter an arson attack.She runs the Brownies with a permanent waiting list, the young girls are inspired and engaged. She used to lead the St John Ambulance team in Hammersmith, helping at events from Chelsea FC,Hammersmith Apollo, London Marathon etc. She has run the local St Peters Festival including concerts, art exhibitions, dog shows and fairs raising over £10,000 per year and bringing the community together.On top of all this she is a great neighbour taking care of local friends and people in need. She is also a brilliant mum and wonderful granny. At 66 and inspite of several bouts of ill-health, she is showing now signs of giving up on anything.
