Brian Peers

Brian has been a volunteer with local children's charity Miles of Smiles for over 18 years. The charity sends sick, disabled and under-privileged children from Chester and district, Wirral and North Wales on the trip of a lifetime. Miles of Smiles is run by volunteers who have to raise approx £40,000 per trip. Brian is the trip co-ordinator and secretary, has a full time job and has recently had a partial knee replacement but still has a lot of time for the charity. He also runs the local pool league. He deserves some recognition although he wouldn't agree. Brian enjoys what he does and says the reward is the smiles on the children's faces when they get to Disneyland Paris. All of the parents that he meets after the trips always say that their child never stops talking about their holiday.
