Brian Christie

Brian Christie is my dad. I have never known someone so full of life & willing to give up his time for others. He's the local TV repair man in Penicuik & has been for 44 years, always willing to do extra to help others. In his spare time he never stops, he's been really involved working with the local kids for over 30 years. Such as the 48th Edinburgh Boys Brigade (31 years -taking up many evenings a week), also the Sunday school at the Penicuik North Kirk. Aswell as all this, over the years he ran some Youth Clubs including 15 years at the Auchendinny Youth club, & through this, he started up the Dalmore boys football team. Since then he started up the Beeslack Thistle football team, which currently coaches 150 boys in a variety of age groups. He still helps coach there. He isn't a glory seeking man, he's far from it. He NEVER expects anything in return. He's my HERO!
