Brian Baines

My son brian has lived up in HARTLEPOOL, CLEVELAND for a good many years.He married a local girl and they have a daughter.Why i am nominating my son is because i think he goes the extra mile to help people.When he heard in the local papers about a man who lost his wife and daughter[6yrs] in a car crash another daughter survived she was only 10weeks old my son was overcome with emotion.and decided to do something about it. he then contacted the man and said he wanted to help.So my son then went and did a sponsered walk across from MARYPORT in CUMBRIA.to HARTLEPOOL a total of 106miles.He did it in 48hours and has raised over £1000 for a charity that the man has set up for children who have lost families.my son is a project worker with the local Barnardos.i am so proud of him and thats why i sent this in.
