Brad Nash

Brad is 19 years old and has quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy but is sport mad. His dream is to be a sports commentator in the future. He enjoys playing wheelchair football, and is an avid snooker fan, but basically any sport is fair game. Brad became involved with the Health Transition Team in 2009 and since then has acted as a great role model for the younger cohort, always having a positive outlook on life and a wicked sense of humour, despite his many medical problems. He recently took part in a project to create a disability awareness film 'What you lookin' at?'' The film highlights attitudes around disability and educates the general public that people with disabilities want to be treated the same as everybody else. He would love to take part in the Olympics and carrying the torch would mean so much to him.
