Born profoundly Deaf, Beth's attitude is 'I'm Deaf - so what?' An outstanding role model, in school she: ?Taught British Sign Language club ?Ran a homework club ?Organised literacy, numeracy and sport clubs ?Mentored younger students ?Community Sports Leaders Award coaching children in rugby, football, basketball and netball ?Been accepted for Sports Science degree . Out of school, Beth's ?Qualified ski instructor & first aider in primary and secondary care ?Completed the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award - going for gold ? Part of Exeter Youth Bank, allocating funds to Devon youth projects ? In the South-West Snow Sport Association Squad, SW Ski Squad & Exeter Ski Team ?Teaching / guiding a visually impaired student at the Adaptive Ski Club ?Writes articles on youth issues for the local paper Nothing is too much trouble and her smile would melt a glacier!
