1) Bernie was one of the team who cycled from Mersyside to Africa in 14 days.Bernie - Bernie helped contribute to the £20k raised to build 2 new schools in Africa. 2) as an ambassador for the Wallace & Gromit charity he produced a viral film to raise awareness of Wrong Trousers Day 2011 . This is in addition to the Barnardo's Tour of inspiration that he initiated last year and continued to raise a further £20k to enable this to take place again this year.

Bernie inspires others to get involved, even after 14 days cycling he took part in the Cardnet Coastal charity walk. It is no surprise he will be leading the Banks Kilimanjaro trek. Bernie's enthusiasm, determination and leadership will no doubt ensure the team raise the pledged £100k for Save the children.
