Ben Wicks

Ben uses his spare time to volunteer with the Bath Community Foundation in running an after school sports club for children with disabilities. He interacts well with the children and helps them to develop a variety of skills through sport. His work is valued by all and for this hard work he was awarded the Chairman's Sport Award 2010 Disability Sports Volunteer. Ben doesn't stop there, over the past couple of years he has helped run a lunch time all inclusive club at his school which once again helps children develop skills through sport and physical activities. The students and teachers really appreciated his work and in May 2011 they presented him with an award For Outstanding Commitment to the Ralph Allen School Community. Ben is a great volunteer and he really makes a difference in helping children with disabilities to grow in confidence and enhance their sporting skills.
