Ben Webb

Ben is the ONLY UK tax manager & all the UK businesses rely heavily on his expertise. In 5 years at GE he has carved out a reputation as the go-man for everything tax related. Although it's his function to be an 'expert', it is the way Ben conducts himself that is the reason for my nomination. Despite being extremely busy, he always finds time to assist all his colleagues and is unswervingly polite, professional and helpful. I personally have benefitted from his expertise and have grown in my role as a result. Many experts are unable or unwillingly to share their knowledge in this way.From a business perspective his practical application of his expertise has had an extensive impact on the UK businesses including Healthcare, Energy, due diligence for acquisitions, short-term business travellers and ex-pats to name but a few.
