Ben Kenyon

Age 14 Ben was in a documentary about autism. He campaigns for NAS visiting MP's at parliament to raise awareness & improve servicesContinue working with National Autistic Society to campaign for better services. Eventually I would like to be a politician so I can have more of a say in the way services are provided. I have Aspergers Syndrome and after a hard time at primary school I am now in a mainstream high school with an autism specialist resource unit. I am now doing really well at school. At the moment there are only 2 units in Staffs providing only 12 places in the county. I would like to help raise awareness of how fantastic this style of education is for children like me and see more units opened across our county and nationwide. I also attend various mainstream drama groups and like to promote the benefits of drama for children with autism.
