Ben Cunliffe

Ben is a qualified Rugby Referee and Tennis coach he coaches young children at his local tennis club several days a week and refs tag RugbyI am already a young leader and have attended many courses to learn how to run sports events for young children in my local area. I am an assistant coach at Chislehurst tennis Club where I coach the mini red orange and green age groups (5-10 years). I have recently passed a rugby union referee course and have refereed at primary school tag festivals. In early July I was asked to ref at the London Youth Games (Girls U14 tag competition). I was awarded the Contribution to Sport for years 7 to 11 by my school for playing and encouraging others to take part. I play rugby and tennis for local clubs. I have benefitted greatly through playing sport and want to show others how important sport is for their physical and intellectual wellbeing.
