Becci's nomination story

Becci has always supported all the local children events, and organised many events to raise money for cancer charity after her younger brother died. Recently, her wonderful husband died at a young age of 36 to cancer also. She has taken on full running of their farm, with her two daughters. They all love sport, and regularly have tennis on a home made grass court, running, cricket, bowls, and other games at home when everyone around is welcome to come. Her husband Rich, a great friend of mine, not long before he died asked me to get his daughters to see the Olympics. Unfortunately I have not been sucessful yet, but this seems a much better way to remember him, and also show how to move on and help others after such a traumactic time.My brother, Ben, died aged 29 from Leukaemia and with family and friends we have raised over £40k for Leukaemia Research. My husband, Rich, was 34 not 36.
