Bazza West

At 19 Bazza West was involved in a car accident after swerving to miss a badger. He broke C4 and C5 in his neck leaving him unable to move anything other than his shoulders and head. Since Baz's accident he has worked tirelessly to help others with spinal injures. He works as a motivational speaker, raises awareness and money for charities and has just won an award for one of his motivational speeches. Earlier this year Baz and his team of 'westys warriors' made it to the top of Ben Nevis, a massive achievement and the first time anyone with a spinal injury of this degree has done it. Bazza is easily the most inspirational person I have met, many would agree, after such a tragic accident he has proved that life does indeed still go on.
