Ashley Swain

Ashley Swain was an incredibly talented athlete and was 3 times National Pole vault champion. With the dream and promise of making it to the Olympics his dedication was second to none. Unfortunately, a serious back injury developed and meant that Ash could not realise his ultimate goal.

The BOA athletes scheme lead ash to Adidas and as an employee he quickly climbed the ladder. Ash is now integral to the Olympics for adidas as he has responsibility to create, develop and deliver the official Team GB competition kit.

Ashley works alongside Stella McCartney, 26 Sports Federations and the athletes including our own GB Golden Girl Jess Ennis. Ash is also a favourite in the office and after knowing him for almost 20 years, I know there is no one this opportunity would mean more to than Ashley who is truly a deserved Olympic Torch carrier.
