over the last few years my youngest son Bradley (now 9) has been badley bullied at school since starting in reception year as well as suffering from severe migraines. During this time Ashley, Ash as he prefers has helped whenever he can, from trying to help Bradley deal with the bullies, looking out for him while still at the same school, looking after his baby sister while I dealt with bradleys migraine. Bradley has been the main priority within the house for a number of years now but Ashley has neverv complained that he is not getting the attentsion or when I asked to help anyone else within the house. Last week Bradley was finally able to relocate to another school and we hope that this will be the fresh start that he needs and that our family live can start retruning to normal very soon. Bradley thought Ash would make a great 'torch runner' brads name, because Ash is very sporty, he plays football, represents his school in 100m and hurdles aswell as in the triple jump, which is remarkable as hes not that tall!! hence this nomination from myself (their mum). Without Ash's support for his little brother, things could have been alot worse for Bradley and what better way for him to say 'thank you' to his big brother than in this nomination. If this nomination is successful I hope that Ash could stand for all the bullied children within families to show that there is light (torch) at the end of the tunnel & to show other suffering as Brad has that you beat the bullies.
