Aoife's nomination story

She has carried the burden of losing her mother at the age of 9 but Aoife is an inspirational individual who also carries the Olympic Values unassumingly in her life. She is first and foremost very protective of and a great support to her younger sisters aged 9 and 7. Moreover she is a role modle for them filling her life with many worthhile activities and excelling both academically and socially. She is an active member of the 29th Belfast Scout Group has just completed her grade 3 in ballet and reached grade 4 in Violin. Her teachers use the words like delightful unassuming and charming to describe her and comment on how she uses her role as Vice Captain to be helpfu; and to lead others in a postive and endearing way.
