Anthony is the most inspirational person i know. Anthony comes from a very ordinary and difficult back ground born into a family living in a council house on benifits, his father died from alcohol abuse when Anthony was just 7. Anthony could have easily become another statistic! A lively boy and with understandable behaviour problems he found a love of gymnastics after being sent from the age of 4 to try and use up some of his excessive energy. when Anthony was about 8 he decided that he wanted to become an Olympic champion from then on he has through hard work a sheer determination done everything he can to achieve his ambition, not allowing anything or any one get in his way. Now at the age of 15 he is in the top junior Olympic squad working towards his dreams, he is currently pommel horse British champion among many of his 100 medals and international appearances . Anthony has showed that with hard work and determination anything is possible, you can never aim too high..Anthony now talks about how he his going to head British Gymnastics in the future and eventually be on the IOC, I don't doubt he will achieve this Anthony only ever considers how he can get to where he wants never maybe. Anthony has taught me that i should never say 'i could never do that ' but to aim high and say ' how am i going to get there?' as a teacher i use Anthony as my constant reference to inspire the young people i teach to go for their dreams and not to listen those who say you can't.
