As a Physical Education teacher at a comprehensive school for over thirty years Tony inspired countless youngsters in a variety of sports. After school he gave much time to local Running and Swimming Clubs whose members greatly benefitted from his enthusiasm and experience.
Three of his London Marathon runs were for Charity, raising money for Raynaud's disease, British Water Ski Racers and a local Junior School.
In middle age Tony became, through his sons, involved in Water Ski Racing rising to British Team captain and Chairman of Racing. For eleven years he led the GB team into European and World Competition and was greatly respected at home and abroad for his passion and competitive spirit.
Tony's lifelong ambition has been to carry the Olympic torch and now as a fit seventy year old he is the ideal person CR
