Anthony Tyler's contribution to Thames Water's partner charity WaterAid has been inspirational to friends, family and colleagues. In the last five years, Ant has raised just over £41,000 by running 12 marathons in total, occasionally dressed as a camel or a sheikh! In April 2011, Ant ran three marathons in three weeks in Sicily, Paris and London, raising over £3,000 for WaterAid and in memory of two friends he lost in November. His dedication to raising money doesn't stop at marathons - he washed cars for eight hours, held quizzes, ran around Reading town centre with a bucket on his head collecting money and grows a moustache every 'Movember' to raise awareness for prostate cancer. Ant is committed to WaterAid, and as General Chemistry Laboratory Manager for Thames Water in Reading, he knows how important it is for the world's poorest people to have access to clean water, sanitation and education.
