Ant's nomination story

Our very own super-hero, Ant works tirelessly for PACSO (The Parents and Carers Support Organisation) bringing fun, enthusiasm and a true 'can do' attitude to disabled children and their siblings. Ant is special needs teacher but out of school he gives his time to PACSO as a key member of a team providing activities for children who find it difficult to attend mainstream clubs. Ant's energy and enthusiasm is boundless. In addition to his role as a senior playworker, he has been instrumental in setting up and running a sports club for PACSO teenagers, and he is always full of ideas as to how the charity can move forward to help even more children in the future. Ant has brought joy into the lives of hundreds of disabled children and deserves recognition for the incredible work he does in helping them to enjoy their childhood and preparing them for their transition into adulthood.
