Anthony Routh

Anthony has helped set up a community football team to help train, coach and encourage grass root football to children in this area. He has raised over £1500 for the club through various routes including fun days and raffles ensuring the club will be around for many years to come. There was no local club for children from the age of 5 to join so Anthony and a couple of parents decided to set up a football team for children to train and make friends in a fun and safe environment. The club do not discriminate against gender or ability and welcome all to come and join in and also encourage parents of the children to get involved in coaching and fund raising. Anthony is a key figure in the club and helps coach all age groups and has furthered his understanding by attending training courses and been around local companies asking for sponsorship and raffle prizes. He has committed a lot of his personal time while also working full time and we are truly grateful and wish to nominate him for his contribution and constant involvement as the club may not have been sustained without his involvement.
