Tony Plews

Mr.Plews runs a local Boys' Brigade group with dedication and good humour. Not only does he provide a fabulous, fun evening for more than 40 boys every week and with camps every year, but he also helps to provide these boys with self-esteem, comradeship, self-confidence, physical confidence, respect for others and moral values. Through his inspiration and sense of fun, many boys like my son will grow up with a strong sense of these values, with pride in themselves and with many happy memories. Tony is a volunteer and gives selflessly to the community. What he provides to these boys money can't buy. He and his colleagues are a shining example of the best of this country - tolerance, selflessness, humour and inherent goodness. He will therefore make a fitting representative for this country in the torch relay. The boys would be filled with pride if he were to carry the torch.
