Anthony Kendall

Anthony has had a commitment to sports development reaching back over several decades. He has been a member of the London Sports Council. He has been on the Committee of the London Youth Games since 1986 and for the last 3 years he has been Chair. During which time participation in the Games has doubled from 25,000 to 50,000 young people. He was also Chair of Sports Relief, which is part of Comic Relief, Chair of the Luol Deng Foundation and the Swimathon Foundation. He works tirelessly and enthusiastically in a voluntary capacity on behalf of all the above. His passion is to enable London's youth to have access to a range of sporting experiences both at a team and individual level. He believes that this is one way in which to support young people to develop into responsible, reliable and contributing members of society with a belief in themselves and their ability to achieve
