Tony Kelly

I have been working on nature Valley for 17 years. My passion is Taekwon- do. In 2005 I was the British Champion for my category and my son is an ex Scottish Champion. For the last 8 years I spent every Saturday instructing Teakwon-do in Berwick upon Tweed. We teach around 30 people from the age 5 to 35, the majority are under 10. Two of the kids have achieved National Championship level awards. As well as teaching skill and discipline we educate the kids on Safety, Health Eating and Wellbeing. We also support children who have low self-esteem to build confidence using Taekwon-do techniques. In the last 10yrs I have been involved in various fundraising activities for Kids with disabilities and Caner support raising over £2,500. Sharing the experience of carrying the Olympic torch with my class will encourage them to try harder and reach the Olympic standard.
