Tony Clare

Tony Clare has for the best part of his 60 years, worked for the RNLI as a Lifeboat Crew Volunteer and Beach Lifeguard. His committment over the years has seen him save countless lives and has been honoured for his bravery.In addition to all that he has raised enormous amounts of money in one way or another for the RNLI. He has taken part in Marathons,Triathlons and Swims all over the Country..to name a few :Liverpool Marathon and 10k Run ,Liverpool Triathlon, Great Northern Run,The London Marathon,The Great Swim at Windermere.etc etc. the list is so long ! The fact that he does it all for the good of others and achieves amazing results is Glory it'self !! So I really feel that it would be a Total Honour for Tony if my nomination was successful.I hope that you will consider him to be a perfect candidate to carry the Torch for The British Olympic Games.
