Annika Bengtsson

Annika is 24 years old, assistant coach and plays for the elite-ladies team in her local floorball club, Frederikshavn Outlaws. Annika comes from a family of sports enthusiasts with both her younger brother and sister playing floorball on elite level in the same club. Annika has been chosen as torchbearer because she has proven that it is possible to rebuild the dream of becoming a top player after a serious injury in 2009 that ruined her changes for participating in the floorball world championships. From an early age Annika was chosen to be the head coach of the Danish U19 national floorball team, and is very involved in developing new floorball talents.
