Annette Sawyer

Annette works for Save the Children, she is a regional manager who looks after their charity shops all over the UK. Annette has visited some of the poorer countries and returned back to the UK inspired to fund raise, and does so successfully by turning charity shops into high street stores. Maximizing potential to fund raise. Annette is a true leader and inspires those around her to follow her vision, which is to reduce world poverty. Annette is a member of Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs a voluntary self funding organisation whom assist the police looking for vulnerable missing people. On call 24/7, she has been involved in four searches that have resulted in lives being saved. After which she always goes to work the next day. Annette has 6 dogs all of whom are their own doggie person and play an important role within the pack, and respond to Annette`s training. All perform different roles, within the environment. Annette has a natural gift with both Horses and Dogs, she is able to read their language beautifully. Annette never looks for recognition but I know she would be sooo proud to be a Torchbearer.
