Angus has impressed the student and teaching body of our school and wider community with his commitment and excellence on the sporting field in Athletics, Football and Rugby. He is modest and respectful in his dealings with staff and pupils alike. His academic performance is exceptional, inspiring others to push themselves further to achieve. His friends have commented on his trustworthy, loyal and caring nature, which makes him an excellent friend. Therefore we feel that Angus embodies the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect which is why we believe that he deserves this moment to shine and to carry the Olympic Torch as a representative of Portora Royal School.
