I believe this person should be an Olympic Torch bearer in Stoke on Trent. She is a worthy and inspirational ambassador for this city. She has done many things which have changed things for others. Until she turned professional and set up the women`s professional squash players association (WISPA) no one had the courage to take this important step but it inspired many to follow worldwide. She always promotes Stoke wherever she goes. She does many things which make a difference to her community. Her voluntary work for local radio, charity fundraising and care and friendship for others from all walks of life and inside and outside sport is important. Her achievements include the former World Professional Squash Champion, representing her country many times, Worldwide Ambassador for City of Stoke on Trent, 6 Towns Radio Sports Show Host and the only female member of Stoke on Trent Sporting Hall of Fame. True to her roots she still lives in house where she was born. She is a volunteer fundraiser for Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Donna Louise. She is possibly the greatest female supporter of Stoke City FC and is frequently requested to comment on radio and television regarding sporting matters.
