Andrew Watson

Andrew is the scout leader for Thursday scout group, 20th Sheffield Scouts based in Eccleshall Sheffield . His commitment and dedication over the last few years is unbelievable. He is there every Thurs without fail leading a group of around 25 10-14 year old boys. He arranges fantastic activities for them - from canoeing to making pancakes, water fights to weaselling, climbing to games nights. His contribution to the gang shows and other social events is outstanding [he is a driving force!]. Weekends away camping are highlights for the scouts, particularly the Dads and Lads weekends. Every summer he devotes 2 weeks to taking 17-20 scouts away and the detail that goes into the arrangements is phenomenal. He has a fantastic relationship with the boys and develops young leaders. In short, he is amazing! And you should hear him shout!! The Mums wish they got the kind of reaction he gets!!
