From football coaching in Devon, innovating football pitches and football league matches for schoolboys in Zambia, teacher training and setting up The Sports Institute in Papua New Guinea, organising The South Pacific Games in 1991, inspirational sports teaching ,the driving force and main fundraiser in building a village sports pavilion back in Devon, to classroom assistant for disabled children.
Now, at 66years old, stricken with Parkinson's Disease and disabled himself after a lifetime of motivating and devoting his spare time to others in Sport in every community he has lived, not just going an extra mile but all around the world, the time has come to reward Andy Seward with a final token of appreciation - the honour of torchbearer.
With his swim-buddy Frank to assist, Andy is capable of walking 300m and would relish this challenge.
