Andy runs the Customer At The Heart of Technology Programme within the technology department. The driver for the programme is to ensure that the Technology team break out of the Newbury bubble and experience real life customer issues. They can do this via a pre-defined set of experiences including:--Remote listening of call centre calls.-Work in a Retail store.-Visit a call centre-Visit an EBU customer with an account manager-Attend a focus group-Work with the on-site support teams for EBU customers.Technology people can then apply these learnings to their every day work and also feed back on ways of us supporting our customers.He also helps manage our local village website and with the organisation of a number of village events, and has set up a JustTextGiving account to assist our local Scout group with fundraising. He also helps Year 7 kids at Trinity School in Newbury to develop their reading as part of the Vodafone Reading Volunteers scheme.
