Andrew Hayward

(Commercial East Mids and Lincs Actons Solicitors) Andrew is a greta guy who dedicates a lot of his time helping those less fortunate than himself. For 14 years he has assisted weekly in the running of the ;Thursday Club' -a local self funded organisation set up for those with special needs. Currently they have approx. 30 members aged 18 - 60+ with specialneeds such as Downs Syndrome, Aspergers, behavioural problems and learning difficulties, all of whom enjoy the range of activities. Every Thurs members are welcomed to participate in karaoke, cooking/baking evneings, bingo, dominoes, table tennis and pool. Andrew has also taken on the role of Club Secretary. he sits on the committee and is involved in arranging annual day trips to the seaside and to the Illuminations. He also plans fund raising events such as parties/discos, which are each attended by over a hundred members and supporters.
