Andy Farringdon

Andy works at Sir Tom Finney Community High School in Preston.He is a teaching assistant who works with students with learning difficulties and disabilities.He always puts full effort into his job even in difficult situations.He tries to find ways to help students achieve their full potential, engaging some in physical activity and encouraging them to develop skills for the future.He also works at the school's Scout group every Monday he really enjoys helping the students experience different activities.He went on Scout Camp where he taught them camp songs and helped them cook on the camp fire.The students all said Andy was really funny on camp! He also helps at a local church youth club on a Friday night where he enjoys working with the youth.Finally he climbed Kilimanjaro in September 2009 to raise money for Christians Against Poverty. He is a true inspiration to myself and others.
