Andre Edwards

Andre is a caring, understanding, flexible and patient person who is not afraid of hard work. Someone who often gives up his spare time to enhance the quality of life for elderly and disabled people. Over the last 4years Andre regularly escort disabled adult service users on outings from the New Millennium Day Centre in Willesden NW10 in his spare time. He is a 19yr old university student in his 2nd year studing Business Management, but he still find the time in between his studies to teach elderly black people in his church how to use computer technology every monday. I think he is an inspiration and a role model to the young people in the area. I think he would be a fitting role to be a 2012 torchbearer.
